Our Sufficiency Is From God (2 Corinthians 3:4-5)

And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.

2 Corinthians 3:4-5 (NKJV)

To walk in the victory that has been made available to us, we must let this principle deeply take root in our hearts: our sufficiency is not from ourselves! Worldly wisdom teaches us to rely on ourselves—be it our own understanding, our own level of education, our past experiences, our own resources—whereas godly wisdom reveals the futility of any such approach when it comes to the things God has called us to do. When we rely on ourselves, we will always bump into limitations; yet when we rely on God, we open ourselves to a life that surpasses natural limitations. God does not want His children to be limited by the things of this world, and so let us be sure that our trust and our reliance are in Him.
