Simply Believe (John 4:49-51)

The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!” Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!”

John 4:49-51 (NKJV)

We see the immutable principle of faith at work here: the nobleman believed the words that Jesus had spoken to him, went about his way, and then experienced in the natural the very thing he had received by faith. When God speaks to us, when the Word enters into our heart, let us be sure to do as this man did, and simply believe. We may rest assured that we will see the manifestation of the very thing we had believed for.
