Ministering Grace Through Our Words (Ephesians 4:29)

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Ephesians 4:29 (KJV)

We are called to always be gracious in our words towards ourselves and others. Rather than speaking words of criticism, judgement and condemnation, the Bible urges us to minister grace unto the hearers. Realizing how much God has given us in Christ, our hearts filled with His love, may our words reflect the grace we have received in our day to day interactions. Let us look for opportunities to build others up through our words, and let us look for the good in others and speak it over them. Our words are powerful. Let’s be sure to use them wisely.
